The ERA-NET HY-CO intends to implement sustainable European transnational joint research and development activities in the fields of hydrogen and fuel cells.

The following six research themes are figured out to implement joint activities:

• hydrogen production centralised (AG1),
• hydrogen production decentralised (AG2),
• hydrogen storage on board vehicles (AG3),
• low-temperature fuel cell PEFC (AG4),
• high-temperature fuel cells - SOFC, MCFC (AG5) and
• deployment strategies (AG6).

The topics are worked out in so called Action Groups (AGs). HY-CO consists actually of 24 partners in 18 countries and not all themes can be covered by all countries or partners. So, some countries are participating in several themes whereas others are active only on a single topic.

However the Action Groups agreed that only those R&D organisations, industries and SMEs can apply to a call whose countries are represented in the specific Action Group. Therefore please have a careful look at the several conditions of the specific calls.
